Ask My Stack

How this works

This assistant isn't Robert. It answers only from what's published on this site and links its sources. For anything else, contact Robert directly.

What it can see

  • Robert's work history on the Resume page and the career floor pages
  • Ship Log entries Robert has approved for public view
  • The Studio Map, the Workflow walkthrough, and the Stack page
  • The Resume page: roles, skills, and education from Robert's resume, plus how Fleet Crawl maps them to floors
  • The About page: capabilities and how Robert works now

What it can't see

  • Private repositories, code, tickets, or chats
  • Ship Log drafts or hidden entries
  • Robert's inbox, calendar, or any connected app
  • The private playbooks behind the shared fleet skills
  • Anything on the open internet

Retrieval first

Your question is matched against a small index of this site's own pages. Only the best-matching passages go any further, and every answer links back to them as source chips.

A model, when one is configured

If an AI Gateway key is set, a language model writes a short answer using only those passages, and it's told to say so when the site doesn't cover something. Without a key, you get the matching passages directly. That's less fluent but still accurate.

Guardrails

Questions are capped in length and rate-limited per visitor. The assistant refers to Robert in the third person, never speaks for him, and can't take actions: it doesn't file tickets, send email, or touch any repo.
